I am super excited to feature my good friend Jenna Rammell of Jenna’s Kitchen and Small Fry. Jenna is a mom of three, and is one of the kindest and most compassionate people I know. She is always thinking of others, and is always real, thoughtful, and wonderful to talk to. She’s a beautiful example to me of love and building up others–and I truly am grateful to have her beautiful thoughts here on gratitude and its important key to finding answers.
She is our next feature in our Finding your Answers Series! It’s a special series–where we post thoughts from inspiring women about finding answers from God as they live their life in faith. Find more about this series here.
Praying and communicating with the Lord has changed drastically for me over the years. While I used to pray intently on specific requests, I now focus most on my gratitude. Thanking him specifically for my many abundant blessings, asking him to help me bless the lives of others and to be open to understanding his will. I’ve found as I’ve expressed my gratitude directly to Him, more blessings have come.
In the past when I’ve suffered miscarriages and infertility I begged my Heavenly Father to bless me with a baby. After months of that, I began to shift my prayers to find joy in the family He had already blessed me with. Rather than fighting and searching and struggling for answer, I began to see more fully what I already had.
